Puppy Preschool Classes!

Overview

Puppy socialization is an important part of the overall health and attitude of your dog.  Here your beloved new friend will learn basic skills and commands that he or she will carry on through the rest of their life.  Topics covered include basic commands like sit, down, stay and walking on a leash without pulling as well as potty training issues, and what to do about biting.  You will also learn how to properly look over your pets body for a mini exam and restrain your pet .  Of course there will be plenty of playtime, socialization and games!  Classes will be taught by one of our Registered Technicians, Melissa Moore.

Our Trainer

Melissa has a strong interest in animal behavior.  After graduating from Purdue, she returned for a course in the principles and techniques of behavior modification.  There she learned how to treat and prevent behavior problems and valuable puppy training skills.  She has taught both basic and advanced puppy classes for a total of 6 years now.  Melissa regularly attends continuing education lectures to keep updated on what is best in pet behavior modificaiton.
