Emily joined the Pine Valley Veterinary Clinic in May of 2019 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, it would take some time before clients knew her smiling face, but they quickly recognized her voice since we were curbside only at that time. As we returned to normal business she was promoted to Lead Client Relations Specialist and has helped to develop a plan of action at the front desk.
Emily was born and raised in Fort Wayne and her family has been with the Pine Valley Veterinary Clinic for many years. As a result many of us have known her from a young age; first coming in for appointments with her family pets and later with her own pets. She has a true love and compassion for animals and their people, so when she decided to make a career change, this seemed like a logical transition.
Emily lives with her husband, Tyler, and their 4 animals. They have two rescue Boston Terriers, Athena and Odin. She is also a first time cat owner since starting at the clinic, with Alas and Aurora, who are probably, at the same time, the naughtiest and most spoiled cats in the world. She spends her spare time with family and her animals when she is not completely rearranging her house every few days.
