Suzanne Jones

Registered Veterinary Technician

Suzanne knew she wanted to work in veterinary medicine from the age of 14, when she began volunteering at a local emergency clinic and animal shelter. She attended a vet business college immediately after graduating from Bishop Dwenger High School, earning her Associate's degree in 2012. Her passion lies in raising awareness for pet care and the importance of rescuing and saving animals. Her day-to-day work is genuinely hands-on and varied, covering everything from X-rays and nail trims to IV catheter placement, requiring the kind of broad knowledge and readiness that comes with real experience.

Suzanne is married with two active daughters who keep the family busy. At home, she shares her life with three rescued dogs, Farrah (a Cattle Dog mix), Paisley (a Pit Bull), both adopted through the Fort Wayne Pit Bull Coalition, and her newest addition, Indy (a Black Lab). She and her family are passionate about fostering Pit Bull breed dogs through FWPBC, helping them learn what genuine, loving care feels like — and when they're not fostering, you can usually find them spending their free time at horse shows.
