Shannon joined the Pine Valley Veterinary Clinic in August of 2022 as a Veterinary Assistant.
Shannon was born in California and grew up traveling all over the country. Having lived in Indiana before, she moved back in 2019 after being gone for 10 years. With a constant love for animals and joy in helping them it only seemed natural for her to go into working with them. She began working at the SPCA in 2004 and eventually found her way into working for a veterinary clinic. Shannon is always willing to help anyone around the clinic. She frequently helps clients in and out of the building. She is also the first person to grab the cleaning supplies when something needs done. Her primary job entails assisting the doctors and technicians with anything they may need. She can generally be found holding or distracting (ie feeding) patients during their appointments. In order to maintain an accurate schedule, Shannon often takes the patient's histories while the doctors and technicians finish the paperwork for their previous appointments. Shannon lives with her husband, Jason and their senior, boxer-mix, Ava. She has three grown sons (Austin, Zac, and Nico) and a daughter-in-law. Between them she also has a granddaughter, Marley, and grandson, Max. She enjoys spending time with all of them and going to the family lake house. She especially loves “everything summertime.” |
